Acaste downingiae (Murchison 1839): Small cephalon and pygidia. Rhynchotreta cuneata (Dalman): Anastrophia deflexa (Sowerby). Many other fossils on slab of Much Wenlock Limestone Formation. The fossils are a death assemblage and seem to be sorted by size. See photographs for detail and identifications. Collected from scree below the Nodular Member rock face, W side of Wren's Nest. Calymene blumenbachii (Bronginart 1822) Calymene cephalon (2.9cm x 1.7cm) in a limestone block (4.0cm x 3.2cm x 2.1cm). Calymenidae: Calymene blumenbachii Brongniart 1822; Rutoceratidae: Trochoceras sp. Fossil Calymene Trochoceras limestone Dudley Silurian c425my complete/incomplete. Large wide curve of a thin shelled fossil cephalopod within which sits a complete enrolled trilobite. Calymene. Trilobite squashed onto tail of nautiloid. Found in scree on west side of the Wren's Nest; Bill Foxall's field collection. WG 25/02/10 A fossil Calymene blumenbacii trilobite on a Trochoceras sp. nautiloid from Dudley.
