Acaste downingiae (Murchison 1839) The complete fossil was collected from the scree below the Ripple Beds on the W side of the Wren's Nest, Dudley. Presumed to be from the upper part of the Nodular Member, Much Wenlock Limestone Formation. Other fossils present including trilobite and gastropod pieces. Lichidae: Platylichas grayii (Fletcher 1850) Left side of the cephalon, the glabella is almost intact, in Much Wenlock Limestone from Dudley. There are many other fossils in this small piece, mostly bryozoa and a prominent crinoid stem. Collected from scree below the Nodular Member, W side of the Wren's Nest.
