Ceratocephala barrandii (Fletcher in Salter 1853) A damaged part of the pygidium of this trilobite, the spines on the left side have been broken off. In a small block of crystalline limestone from the Much Wenlock Limestone Formation. A partially enrolled Calymene sp. (4.8cm x 4.0cm x 3.2cm) with very little matrix although there is some around the glabella and between the thoracic segments. It has been varnished but uts brown colour is possibly due to limonite. Found in scree below the Basement Bed rockface, 390m SSE of Caves PH, East side of Wren's Nest. WG 09/10 1.10 DB 83.
