Description: | Material, mainly scripts, relating to the acting and teaching career of Nancy Price, from the early 1900s. The scripts include playscripts, radio and film scripts. Nancy Price made her debut with Frank Benson's company and her career as an actress was long and varied, embracing radio and film and well as a number of distinguished roles in the theatre. She was also a highly regarded manager and director, and in 1930 founded the People's National Theatre.
