DES after THOMAS de Colmar, Charles,Xavier,Chevalier. 1818 44 rue Chateaudun, Parios, France. This Sumlock model 912 S is a direct action keyboard calculator of the "comptometer" type. It has a 9 digit keyboard. This machine was designed as a money totaller in sterling i.e.pounds shillings and pence but with knowledge can be used as a four rules calculator. It is a pinwheel machine that has no input or revolutions register but has an 11 digit ponds accumulator register plus shillings and pence.
