Description: | The first Wesleyan Methodist chapel in Metheringham was built in 1803. It was replaced by a new building in 1824, which was itself replaced by a newer chapel in 1840. A Day School was added in 1858.
The present chapel, almost opposite the chapel of 1840, opened in 1908.
The chapel was in the following circuits at the dates indicated:
