Description: | 1. Susanna Gregory, widow and relict of George Gregory, late of Nottingham, esq, deceased, and one of the sisters and coheirs of John Williams, esq, deceased, who was the only son and heir of William Williams, late of Rempstone, Nottinghamshire, esq, by Elizabeth Williams his wife, also deceased,

George Gregory, esq, eldest son and heir of George Gregory, deceased, by Susanna Gregory his wife, now his widow, Susanna Gregory, spinster, one of the daughters of the said George Gregory the father by Susanna his wife, George Gregory of the Office of Ordnance in the Tower of London, grandson of George Gregory the father, being the only son and heir of Theophilus Gregory, gent, deceased, who was the youngest son of the said George Gregory the father by Susanna his wife,
3. William Burton of North Luffenham, Rutland, esq, and John Sherwin of the town of Nottingham, esq.
Quotes indenture of 26 Aug 1737, whereby Susanna Gregory's moiety of property in Radford, Remptone, Stanton in the Wolds, Nottingham, and Harlaxton, given by the will of Elizabeth Williams to the said George Gregory and Susanna his wife and their heirs, and her moiety of manor of Hungerton cum Wyville and the advowson, and of property in Hungerton cum Wyville, and of manor of Rempstone and property there, and property in Upper Broughton, Nottinghamshire, and a moiety of Susanna Gregory the mother's whole of capital messuage and other property in Denton, and moiety of Susanna Gregory of property in Harlaxton, and of fee farm rent of £25 p.a. payable out of the manor of Loddington, Leicestershire. (All these properties, on the death of John Williams, descended upon Susanna Gregory his sister and Simon Degg, his nephew, as copartners in fee simple). And also the moiety of the said Susanna Gregory of all other lands late the inheritance of John Williams in Hungerton cum Wyville, Great Ponton, Little Ponton, North Stoke, South Stoke, Skillington, Harlaxton, Denton and Gonerby and Barrow by, and in Loddington and Hoton, Leicestershire, and in Rempstone, Radford and Upper Broughton, Nottinghamshire, were settled to the use of George Gregory the father for his life, remainder to the use of Susanna Gregory the mother for her life, then to the use of William Burton and John Sherwin for 500 years, then to the use of George Gregory the son for his life, remainder to Burton and Sherwin during the life of George the son, in trust to preserve contingent remainders, then to the use of the second and other sons of George Gregory the son, or than his heir, successively in tail male.
1. now revokes all the uses in the said settlement concerning her moiety, and appoints that the premises shall be to the use of Susanna Gregory the mother and her assigns during her life, then the moiety of the property in Radford to the use of George Gregory the son his heirs and assigns for ever, and the moiety of the rest of the premises to the use of 3. for 500 years, then to the use of George Gregory the son for his life, then to the use of 3. during the life of George the son, in trust to preserve contingent uses: and from the decease of George the son, to the use of the second and other sons of George the son successively and their heirs male. Proviso that the property shall not pass to an eldest son of George the son.
Other remainders.
Trusts concerning the term of 500 years: after the death of Susanna Gregory the mother, the trustees to pay an annuity of £50 to Susanna Gregory the daughter for her life, an annuity of £40 to George Gregory the grandson for his life (or a sum of £1,000 in lieu).
