"Despite differences in their styles, Bonington’s influence on Holland occasionally resulted in the latter’s works being assigned to the more famous artist. The oil painting View of Venice (Ashmolean Museum A275), originally attributed to Bonington, is now accepted as a Holland. (Cambridge 2002)
