Here, in conversation with Jamil Iqbal, Abdul Shahid, and Shanaz Shahid of the Swadhinata Trust, he describes the activities of community groups in the 1970s and 1980s. Mr Cox's group, Avenues Unlimited, employed the first Asian youth worker in the country in 1970.
