Joseph Wainwright, Surgeon; Thomas Hawkes, Merchant; Edward Dixon, Banker; Samuel Bennett, Nail Ironmonger; Richard Powell, Plumber and Glazier; Thomas Homer, Maltster; and John Tompson the Elder, Cordwainer, all of Dudley (being 7 of the Commissioners named and appointed under an Act of Parliament, 1791, for lighting the town of Dudley with Gas). 2. Henry Pitt, Innkeeper; and John Blewitt, Innkeeper, both of Dudley (Trustees). 3. Thomas Badger of Dudley, Nail Ironmonger; and Isaac Badger of Dudley, Nail Ironmonger. #1 release to #3 a parcel of land called Martins Hill, near to a street leading to Elswall Lane, Dudley and to Cooks Tetnall, Dudley.
