Description: | This single autograph letter of George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950), dramatist, essayist and early member of The Fabians Society, is addressed to 'Dear Colleague', and dated 28 July 1909. The letter refers to evidence given to a government select committee on stage plays and the need to fight censorship of plays.; Catalogues and lists are available in the Library and the National Register of Archives; copies of which are also available on-line via the the World Wide Web. Card indexes arranged by person and place are available in the Archives Reading Room, as is a card catalogue of the Theatre Playbills.
